Please read the “Pistol Permit General Guidelines” before you choose to move forward in the application process. All applications must be received in person, and you must have valid identification with you when you bring your application to the Sheriff’s Office.
By mail or in person:
Pistol permit photos shall be retaken in person every five years. For renewals by mail, please allow a few weeks for delivery. Renewal requests should include your current pistol permit number, any changes of address and/or phone numbers, a stamped self addressed envelope; and a money order, cashier’s check or personal check made out to the WCSO. The cost to renew is $20 per year up to five years. If you need additional information or have questions, please call 251-847-2202.
